CESD (Council for Employability and Skill Development) i.e रोजगार एवम कौशल विकास परिषद् is an independent, multi disciplinary premier organization working for innovative india based workforce development organization initiating end to end solution for youth both men and women. CESD came into existence after landmark National Policy on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2015 act. Addressing the livelihood issue of these youth, CESD is engage in new strategies for supporting transition pathway that will help these youth to move out of poverty and towards secure future. CESD integrates policy makers, investors, young and women entrepreneurs, startups, schools, colleges, universities, MNCs for better employability and growth .CESD is a registered not for profit trust under the provisions of Indian Trust act 1882.
CESD have large numbers of members drawn from Industry, workers and employee organizations, Central and State Government ministries, International organizations, Academics and advisory bodies. Representation is also given to women and weaker section of the society and experts of vocational training.
CESD have a clear model of Employable Vocational Training System which will include new technologies and improved academic syllabus in the context of emerging economy. The project is for targeting below poverty youth, in- school, school dropout, women, unemployed youth, migrant youth and youth from resettlement communities. This program will support employment opportunities, Job oriented and employable work force preparation with strong focus on skills. Post training youth connected to program will have job opportunities which will allow them to earn and live good standard of life. This would be possible with the involvement of business, vocational training centers, Industry professionals, Govt. of INDIA initiatives in developing integral component to learn, acquire advance training , become employable, access Jobs and Earn and Serve.
CESD will have the responsibility to improve the skills and employability status of youth, women from backward urban or rural disadvantaged Districts, Making them Competitive in the Job and entrepreneurship market by providing demand driven contemporary skill training with job placement support and enabling them to choice accessed for Jobs. CESD will contribute in making workforce employable by institutionalization of partnerships between businesses, citizens, Centers, Government.
